Transliteration and document history

Ukrainian records may include earlier spellings, handwritten entries, seals or parallel versions of a name. Supply every page and the passport spelling used in the current application. The translation distinguishes information printed in the source from supporting explanations, rather than silently changing the record.

Certification and intended use

English-language certification is agreed for the named recipient and purpose. Polish sworn translation of a Ukrainian document is a separate service under appointment TP/27/17; its purpose and destination are established at quotation.

What to provide for a quotation

Send the complete document, including the reverse, seals, handwritten entries and attachments. State the source and target language, the receiving organisation, your deadline and whether you need an electronic file, paper copies or a particular certification statement. For a bundle, identify the documents to translate and keep the existing pagination.

A consistent commission

For connected documents, provide the approved spellings of personal and company names and identify earlier translations to be followed. Terminology, included material, delivery and price are agreed for the individual commission.
