Polish-, Ukrainian- and Russian-language records may form part of an English-language case file. A useful commission identifies the document list, bundle pagination, party-name spellings and deadline. The translation retains the links between statements, attachments and correspondence so a solicitor can work from an organised set of material.
Send the arranging firm’s instructions for certification and exhibits, along with any previous translated terminology. For urgent or staged bundles, agree priorities and delivery milestones before work starts.
Personal documents for UK applications
London-based clients can request translation of civil-status certificates, diplomas, transcripts and employment records. Include the full source document and the receiving authority’s current instructions. An application’s language, certification and delivery requirements determine the appropriate deliverable.
For a visa application, the relevant UK guidance should be checked for the application route. A translator’s certification statement, date, identity and contact information can be required. A document that also needs an apostille or separate legalisation has an additional requirement, distinct from translating its content.
English and Polish business documents
Cross-border agreements, authorisations and corporate records benefit from consistent terminology for parties, offices and legal forms. State the relevant jurisdiction and whether the translation is for negotiation, internal review or submission. Connected documents can be scoped together to maintain a consistent record.
Languages for London enquiries
The practice covers English, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian. The CIOL profile lists English-to-Polish, English-to-Ukrainian and English-to-Russian services. Polish sworn Ukrainian translation is available under appointment TP/27/17 for the relevant Polish use.
Remote service and the office
Document work is commissioned remotely from the Kraków office. Paper copies, electronic delivery, deadlines and any separate interpreting assignment are agreed before acceptance. The service does not depend on an advertised London branch.
Prepare the quotation
Provide the files in reading order, indicate what should be translated and name the intended recipient. Include the exact language direction, deadline and any certification instructions. For court or corporate bundles, keep the existing identifiers and page numbers.
